Stunning, One-of-kind Finish
This USA Eclipse is a one-of-a-kind, thanks to a 3D marbleized finish done by ESP’s Master Painter, Ryan Dominguez. And it sounds as great as it looks! Its mahogany body soaks your tone in warmth and sustain, while its chambered design gives you all the resonance you can handle. Two Seymour Duncan APH-1 humbuckers deliver vintage tones with added clarity. And you'll enjoy limitless playability with this guitar's ebony-capped 3-piece mahogany neck. This ESP USA Eclipse includes Schaller strap locks and Sperzel locking tuners.
Top-shelf tonewoods deliver superior sound
ESP wasn't fooling around when they built this USA Eclipse. They started with a body built from mahogany. The warmth and sustain of mahogany are at the center of some of the most legendary rock guitar tones of all time. But ESP didn't stop there. They chambered the body for lighter weight and added resonance and gave it a marbleized finish for an eye-catching 3D look and texture. The result is an incredibly thick tone with a bold, muscular character. This guitar's super-stable 3-piece mahogany neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard, which culminates in a comfortable-playing guitar with plenty of snap.
Seymour Duncan Humbuckers with a vintage-style tone
This ESP USA Eclipse is loaded with a first-rate duo of Seymour Duncan APH-1 pickups. Seymour Duncan pickups have found their way into the axes of guitarists such as Slash and Nels Cline. Perfect for any genre from jazz to blues to classic rock and anything in between, the APH-1 bridge and neck humbuckers are characterized by a cool vintage-style tone. For tones that can be classic and modern at the same time, the APH-1 fits the bill.
ESP USA series employs the finest materials from around the world
ESP started as a manufacturer of after-market guitar parts in Japan in the late 1970s. By the mid-'80s, ESP was making custom guitars for some of the biggest names in rock. An exacting eye toward playability and craftsmanship has made ESP Guitars one of the most visible and prevalent guitar brands in rock and metal. In 2014, ESP opened its first US-based production factory. It's there that they craft their acclaimed ESP USA series guitars by hand, using the finest materials from around the world. George Lynch, Ron Wood, Sammy Duet, and Kirk Hammett (and a bunch of us here at Sweetwater) rely on ESP guitars both onstage and in the studio.
