Real Jackson Quality for Less!

Part of Jackson's JS Series, the JS32 Kelly solidbody electric guitar packs a lot of value. A pair of high-output ceramic-magnet humbuckers hits your amplifier with huge tone — just what you need for aggressive performance. And while the price is low, you'll be astounded at how good the JS32 Kelly plays. The compound-radius fretboard makes it easy to blaze around the neck, and the graphite-reinforced maple neck is designed for a long life of reliable action. Whether you're just starting to rock or are looking for a value-packed shred machine, you'll be impressed with the Jackson JS32 Kelly.

Compound-radius fingerboard boasts the best of both worlds

The Jackson JS32 Kelly sports a compound-radius rosewood fingerboard with jumbo frets. Down low, your fretting hand will appreciate the 12-inch radius that keeps things nice and comfortable for natural, relaxed chord work. Up top, a 16-inch radius lays it all out flat for effortless, low-action, and high-speed runs with monumental string bends without fretting out. The JS32 Kelly balances the best of both worlds.

Jackson high-output pickups deliver the ultra-hot tone you need to tear it up

Looking for rock-solid metal tone? The Jackson JS32 Kelly delivers! That's because Jackson hooked the JS32 Kelly up with a pair of their custom-built humbuckers. These high-output humbuckers give you plenty of punch and serious bite — just what you need for today's most aggressive guitar styles.

Aggressive looks for an aggressive guitar

If you're after a guitar that looks as mean as it sounds, then Sweetwater can highly recommend the JS32 Kelly. The body shape alone is enough to convey instant attitude. Throw in Jackson's distinctive pointy headstock and shark fin inlays, and you've got one menacing guitar with the Jackson JS32 Kelly. Exactly what you've been looking for, right?

Jackson JS32 Kelly Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:

  • A high-performance guitar for an amazingly low price
  • Dual Jackson custom humbuckers deliver hard-hitting, high-gain tone
  • Compound-radius rosewood fingerboard feels great for rhythm and lead playing
  • Slender graphite-reinforced maple neck resists warping and twisting over the years

Very nice Jax

Well ok then. Guitar arrived in prefect condition as always (thank you SW). Only real complaint was the neck-dive on this sucker. Took care of that with some flat wheel-weights tucked into the control cavity. Swapped out the bridge pickup and will swap out the neck pickup this weekend, and also swapped out the fine tuners with stainless steels. Guitar plays and sounds amazing, and now hangs from the strap in a neutral position. This is a great mod platform. Another sound purchase from Sweetwater!

This guitar became my new favorite

It looks badass and it feels nice and solid. I've had no issues with it at all, it plays wonderfully, the paint job looks nice and clean, and the added locking nut and tremolo is a nice touch as well.
I recommend this guitar if you want something that looks cool and isn't pricey.

Best metal guitar in its price range

My first Jackson guitar showed up and blew me away right out of the box. The snow white finish is pure hetfield but the cutaway at the bottom fin makes for easy upper fret access. There was no need for setup, the guitar was easy to tune thanks to the included allen wrench keys. The licensed Jackson floyd rose bridge is stable. Divebombs, flutters, no matter what nonsense you throw at this thing it stays in tune. I've even done the Herman Li trem bar lift (If you listened to metal in the mid 2000's you know what I'm talking about) and it still stayed in tune but wouldn't reccomend trying this at home.
While the pickups aren't quite as versatile as duncans or dimarzios they are very serviceable for all ranges of heavy metal. They don't mud out when you downtune either, I currently have mine in drop B. The 25.5" scale length accomodates this tuning quite well. I find the neck profile comfortable in my hands despite being a bit thicker than an Ibanez Wizard neck.
Overall I can't reccomend a Jackson JS32 Kelly enough for someone who wants an extremely playable and affordable metal guitar. They sound great and look absolutely killer. Shouts out to Ray Gonzalez at Sweetwater for helping me choose mine out!

Plays well!

This guitar plays quite well, was pleasantly surprised after changing strings how easy it was to play. I purchased this guitar for and upcoming series of performances as I needed anthother guitar for a another tuning. Absolutely surpassed expectations, would recommend for beginners and experienced musicians alike. Only criticism for this guitar is the Floyd Rose licensed Bridge doesent always take heavy punishment and stay in tune. This is not uncommon for these types of bridges though, so keep that in mind.

Jackson Kelly, better than expected!

I expected to have to have a set up done on the guitar after it arrived but that was not the case. All I've done is adjust the pickup height and change the strings. The only issue with the guitar is the balance while standing. Believe it or not, the neck drops and it wants to be level, I like the neck up body down but that's just my personal preference. The guitar plays great, frets are not sharp, finish had no defects, intonation is spot on, the trem works great ( the fine tuners are stiff ), no fret buzz, pickups sound good and it is a beautiful guitar. For the money, Jackson has come a long way. This is my 2nd Jackson ( 1992 Jackson Performer ) and the Kelly is by far better out of the box! Sweetwater was brilliant and I will buy more from you all. I was worried buying sight unseen, my first time, and I will get more from you all. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
